Northwestern Campus Whistle Anomaly

Agros urbe non clamaten

The Northwestern Campus Whistle Anomaly (NCWA) is a ghostly, whistle-like sound which emanates from the woods in Northwestern UCSC upper campus. It’s particularly heard when alone during foggy mornings, though may be heard randomly throughout the day. The noise travels, sometimes also appearing in the College 9 woods, and the Porter Field, though it is most consistently found in upper campus, just above Crown.
