Piss Water
"Piss water" is a blanket term referring to any can of the popular soda Spindrift.
Origin
The origin of this term dates back several years, initially uttered by Quincy one night, it quickly gained popularity within the inner circles. It has a heavy connection to the first Spindrift Quincy consumed- that being pineapple flavor specifically. The pineapple flavor (and nearly every other Spindrift flavor) has a rather repulsive taste despite its low juice concentration[1], the acidity of the pineapple is especially apparent, but this seems be what gives it its flavor and appeal
Usage
Despite its rather strange origins, the term "piss water" remains a word that's used daily by many Intrusive Gardeners. It's so popular, in fact, it's not unlikely for those involved in its origins to use it entirely, forgoing the Spindrift name. In observational studies, those who use the term often use it in public, leading to language barriers with those who have been uninitiated.
- ↑ The side of the 8 can box states "We squeezed 1/8th of an entire pineapple into this box." From this it can be inferred that 8 boxes each containing 8 cans of piss water can be produced from a single pineapple, and by extension 64 total cans of piss water is the yield from a single pineapple.
